Tara Slone

Co-Host, Hometown Hockey


Tara Slone’s eclectic resume and unique perspective have made her one of the most recognizable faces in the Canadian entertainment industry. The co-host of Hometown Hockey, Tara speaks about her intriguing career path which saw her transition from rock star to broadcaster, and she is right at home bringing star power to your stage, as a host of conference events, gala evenings, and more.


Slone previously co-hosted Breakfast Television Calgary, and is the former lead singer of the Juno-nominated rock group Joydrop. She was also a contestant on Rockstar: INXS, and the host of Sun TV’s Inside Entertainment. In addition, she has appeared in numerous films and television episodes.

Devah Quartet


A clasically trained, multi-genre string quartet, Dévah Quartet has been featured in the UK magazine PROG and notable performances include Canada Day at Yonge and Dundas Square, the 3-year countdown launch for the Pan Am Games, and featured guest artists at Interprovincial Music Camp’s CAMP ROCK. Dévah Quartet became Yamaha Canada Artists in 2011, and D’Addario Canada Artists in 2013.
