Caleb Ellis serves as vice-president of MySafeWork, a non-profit organization that began in 1999 after Ellis’ teenage brother was killed in a workplace accident. MySafeWork’s mission is to prevent workers from getting killed and injured on the job through education and empowerment. In 2017, MySafeWork launched “Courageous” — a campaign designed to spark a so-cial movement against harassment and unsafe work amongst young people. In two years, thousands of students from hundreds of North American high schools have joined the Coura-geous movement. Ellis is graduate of Pepperdine University’s School of Law and is currently completing his articles at Scarborough Community Legal Services, focusing on employment law.
